Some people have been asking me how the wonderful ladies at team ‘Relay Good Friends’ of Relay for Life Dalgety Bay got on at their race night on May 8th at Louie Brown’s Bar.
I’m pleased to report that they raised an outstanding £1,506.25.
For those who don’t know, my sister-in-law is a member of team ‘Relay Good Friends’ and Ellis Exclusive Villas is sponsoring one of the prizes in a Relay for Life raffle in aid of Cancer Research UK to be held at the 2015 Relay for Life in Dalgety Bay.
We’ve donated a FREE week at our villa Allamanda for one of the lucky raffle winners.

You don’t need to make it down to the Dalgety Bay Leisure Centre on race day to enter the raffle – it is open to EVERYONE. But do please make sure that you mention the raffle when you make your donation.
The draw will take place at the 2015 Relay, which this year takes place on 20th June 2015 at Dalgety Bay Sports & Leisure Centre Harbour Drive, Dalgety Bay, KY11 9NA. Winners will be notified by email if you aren’t able to make it to the relay event.

Most people who know the story behind Ellis Exclusive Villas know about my Mum’s own courageous battle with Cancer. She inspired a love of Florida in her three daughters, even though she didn’t get to spend as much time as she would have liked to in the Orlando holiday home she bought when she was first diagnosed with the disease.
It’s probable that we all know someone whose life has been touched by Cancer in one way or another. That’s why Ellis Exclusive Villas is delighted to be able to sponsor a really worthwhile event in our local community here in Dalgety Bay to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
